I couldn’t send the pictures before. I’d like to know now. How does this pump work, and what is that tank in front of the pump?
The tank in front of the pump is a vacuum water intake tank, used to draw water up
Adding a self-priming tank in front of the self-priming pump can increase the self-priming height.
In a self-priming tank, generally the tank is filled with the medium before starting the pump. Once the pump is started, the medium in the self-priming tank is drawn out, creating a pressure difference at the pump inlet that allows the medium from the storage tank to be drawn up
