In our units, the bearing temperature rises whenever grease is applied to the motors of the pumps. Several accidents have occurred due to high temperatures after greasing. Is there any standard regarding the application of grease?

Too much grease has been added; in the situation you described, it’s likely that the container is already full.
0.005*outer diameter of motor bearing*bearing width/g
Low speed, high load; 1/2 is applied to the bearing cavity； High speed, low load: increase by about 1/4–1/3
Too much grease has been added; it is recommended to clean the grease delivery lines in order to reduce the intervals and frequency of grease addition. It is recommended to install an automatic grease injector, and set a certain grease injection frequency based on the motor’s power level.
