Dear experts, in one of our units, there is a vertical double-end seal high-risk pump; the oil cooling system in its oil seal tank suddenly stopped producing any temperature, and as a result, heat could not be removed, causing the mechanical seal to overheat. After disconnecting for inspection, it was found that the oil flow was unobstructed, but the problem persisted even after reconnection. I would like to ask the experts what could be causing this issue?

You have already checked that the oil path is unblocked, which means there are no blockages; however, it is necessary to ensure that there are no areas in the oil path where air is trapped or where cavities exist. Air trapped in such areas can create resistance in the oil flow, leading to interruptions or disruptions in circulation. Exhaust valves should be installed in these areas to remove any trapped air before starting the pump; 2. Second, the circulation loop needs a driving force for circulation; this driving force is the pressure difference at both ends of the oil circuit, or it can be the pressure difference at the inlet and outlet of the impeller itself, or a pressure difference created by a mechanical seal pumping mechanism, or yet another pressure difference resulting from an external circuit. Please investigate this issue.
It should be P52 or P53; is the pumping ring in order? Secondary sealing chamber: Has the gas in the isolation fluid pipeline been completely removed?
