When the bypass is activated during the operation of the circulation pump, the pressure drops significantly. What should be the appropriate pressure range for the normal operation of this pump?
This is a setup with branch lines, and the bypass will affect the pressure changes in the main pipeline. If the flow rate cannot be measured either, then the normal operating condition of the pump is determined based on vibration and noise levels. When the motor load is within the acceptable range, adjust the outlet valve (or bypass valve) to find the range within which the pump’s vibration and noise are at their lowest, and note the upper and lower limits of the pressure gauge in this range.
