Outlet direction of the centrifugal pump

The centrifugal pump used for product filling and supply currently has the inlet at one end and the outlet at the other, but air cannot be removed properly. I was thinking of rotating the pump cover by 90° to position the outlet horizontally – is that possible?
Pumps generally have a drain port, and it should be possible to clean them by using that drain port. When the outlet is placed horizontally, the question is how to secure it.
If the pump body bracket also rotates 90 degrees on the volute!
When the pump is rotated 90° for filling, air still remains in the pump casing – why isn’t the drain port used?

Pumps that come with feet attached to their bodies cannot rotate； In the case of a bracket-type pump (where the pump body is fixed by bearing brackets), the pump body can rotate, and the degree of rotation depends on the angle formed by the number of connecting bolts. But even after the pump body rotates, can it be cleaned thoroughly? Will this cause any new problems? Please verify
