Those reasons cause grooving deformation in the rotor and impeller keyways of the shielded pump, as shown in the image
The processing quality has caused problems with the assembly clearance! !
The operating condition resistance exceeds the design requirements, or the design strength is insufficient
1. Insufficient strength of the shaft and key； 2. Cavitation during the pump’s operation causes vibration in the equipment ； 3. The radial force under the operating conditions of the pump itself is relatively high ； 4. The fit tolerance between the pump shaft and the key is too large ； Appropriate analysis should be conducted based on the actual operating conditions and materials
What medium is the pump pumping? It might be that the medium causes corrosion, resulting in a large tolerance between the pump shaft and the hub, as well as a large clearance between the keys and their keyways
