Water ring pumps are all equipped with a dedicated water tank, and the liquid level in this tank should always be higher than that in the water ring pump, in order to ensure a continuous supply of working fluid to the pump. In other words, the pump should be filled with working fluid before it is turned on. . . . . .
It will become a water pump, with water continuously flowing out from its outlet
It is best not to start a water ring vacuum pump with the tank completely filled with liquid, as this can easily cause the impeller to break
Overload can damage the motor, and it can also easily damage the impeller
In the self-priming state, the thickness of the water ring remains constant. If pressurized water is added, water will come out of the exhaust port, the motor power will increase, and the blades and shaft may break
It mainly depends on whether there is air at the inlet; if it’s all liquid, it can be used as a centrifugal wheel. If there is air, evacuate it once the water at the inlet is gone. .
When the water level is full, it’s not possible to create a vacuum; the load on the equipment increases, and there are many problems as a result
If started with a full liquid level, the motor will experience overcurrent, which can easily damage it. On the other hand, it can easily cause the blades to break.
It’s fine as long as water comes out of the exhaust port; the level is probably about half full of liquid.
