Have you encountered the use of wire cutting to process irregular, flexible graphite gaskets (on a non-volume basis)? Graphite is conductive; what is the effect after cutting? Experienced travelers, please share your thoughts
The original design overlooked the fact that there was also a key passing through between the shaft sleeve and the impeller; this was not taken into account during design, making assembly impossible. If the key is broken, it is too short, and lengthening the keyway would require significant effort – it’s a temporary solution.
Haha, I just tried cutting it – it can be cut, but its electrical conductivity is slightly poor. The technician said that, based on the sparks produced, its conductivity is similar to that of cast aluminum; which is really good
