A centrifugal pump motor trips when in operation, and trips again when restarted. What could be the possible reason for this phenomenon?
From a technical perspective, tripping during the acceleration phase of the motor at startup may be caused by an excessive load. For example, if the outlet valve is opened too wide (except for liquids at unsaturated temperatures), it should be closed completely, and operation should be started with the lowest possible load. Or it could be due to excessive material quality, mechanical damage resulting in excessive axial force, etc. Electrical issues may be due to single-phase problems or other reasons as well. If it closes, it trips immediately. The electrical aspect is more likely. First, conduct a preliminary check through tasks such as turning the shaft.
