Two shielded pumps are operating in two different states, and the cause of this phenomenon cannot be determined. 1. During operation, the rotor keeps moving back and forth in the middle position, with an amplitude of about 2 mm; the force applied is not significant. After cutting the impeller, both the amplitude of this movement and the force applied decrease relatively. 2. It is not possible to determine the direction of the axial force during operation; it can remain balanced when pushed to the front side, and it can also remain balanced when pulled to the back side. Could everyone please explain why these two phenomena occur? Is it due to the hydraulic characteristics of the pump itself, or is it because the axial force balance is not proper, or some other reason?
What is the rotor play in KW, what is the bearing clearance, what is the g-value, has the pump been properly degassed before operation, and is the pump inlet filter clogged?
65kw, stroke of 3mm, sliding bearing, g-value of 6mm; it’s not a problem with exhaust; the medium is water
The axial force adjustment of this pump is excellent; achieving 65KW of performance is no easy task. As for the reasons behind this, it may not be possible to explain them in just a short time. For manufacturers dealing with pumps of this size, the conditions you describe are something that can only occur occasionally :)
May I ask the original poster how to determine, during operation, that the rotor is shifting axially from its central position, and also to confirm that the magnitude of this shift is around 2 mm? Please help
A special rear cover equipped with a measuring device was used when measuring thrust……
