The material is poured into the reaction vessel from barrels in the workshop; its viscosity is around 10,000. Currently, manual labor is used to pour 200 KG of material from barrels into the feeding tank, after which it is pumped into the reaction vessel using a gear pump located in the pump pit. Hundreds of barrels of material are poured into the feeding tank each time, which is a labor-intensive process and can easily lead to contamination of the floor. At present, a Q3YB-50 pneumatic diaphragm pump is used for pumping the material into the feeding tank, but the pumping speed is very slow. Is there a more suitable pump available, or any good solutions? We are considering replacing the 200 KG packaging barrels with larger barrels, but the material still needs to be poured into the feeding tank. Do any experts or experienced workers have any good methods or equipment suggestions?
1. Use multiple oil drum transport vehicles to carry, turn over, and pour the contents. 2. Increase the number of pneumatic diaphragm pumps so that they can operate simultaneously. Due to its high viscosity, and the fact that 200 kg drums are used instead of tank trucks, it’s likely that even 1-ton drums will be difficult to use, which indicates that remote pipeline transportation is not feasible.
Hundreds of barrels are poured into the feeding tank each time; you can calculate the total amount and arrange for logistics to transport it from the manufacturing plant to your company using tank trucks. Centrifugal pumps, screw pumps, gear pumps, or double-suction pumps can all be used to deliver the material directly into the feeding tank. Unloading hundreds of barrels from a truck using a forklift is also a waste of time and manpower. Changing from barrel delivery to tank truck delivery allows for one-time unloading, saving time and effort. It must comply with **safety regulations**. A screw pump should be used to draw directly from the tank. You can consult the manufacturers that produce screw pumps
Just replace the pump with one that has a higher flow rate.
