Questions about Hammett shielded pumps

Our unit has around 20 Sea-Me-Teck shielded pumps, and none of them are equipped with TRG meters. 1. So how can we determine the degree of bearing wear? The vibration is normal at present. 2. Is it necessary to jog the shielded pump before starting it?
We have also used two units here, and it’s been about a month so far. During normal operation, it stopped on its own. Upon inspection, it was found that the gap between the impeller and the wear-resistant plate was very small; even a slight scarring would prevent it from rotating. After cleaning the scabs, continue using it and keep observing.
The manufacturer believes it is not necessary; proper operation should be ensured to avoid dry running and the entry of particulate matter into the pump. This can be achieved by filling the pump properly, conducting regular inspections, and cleaning the inlet filter. The regular monitoring you mentioned is also necessary.
It’s generally not necessary; their pumps are quite resistant to noise. If they break, they are sent back to the factory for repair. Attempting to repair them oneself may result in parameters not meeting the required standards. I used it before, but later I switched to all products from Dalian Empire

If there’s no gauge, listen to the sound; there’s nothing else to do. Just don’t open it to take a look. As for whether to toggle it on or off, it’s unnecessary and pointless.
