Take a look; both the inlet and outlet of this pump have reduced diameters. How should the specifications for such reduced diameters be chosen? Thank you, guys!
You’re right; these phenomena can only be seen on-site, and it is only through pipeline design that they can be explained.

This should be determined based on the requirements of the manufacturing process – the appropriate pipe diameter can be calculated accordingly; if it differs from the size of the pump, then the diameter needs to be adjusted.
The diameter of the pump outlet pipe is determined by considering the flow rate that the pump can deliver and the optimal flow velocity; the diameter of the pump inlet pipe is generally one size larger than that of the outlet pipe, in order to reduce the flow velocity, minimize pressure losses, and prevent cavitation.
It seems to me that this pipe is at least 250 or 300 in diameter; it’s definitely too large for a flow rate of 40 m3. Is this the main pipe, with other pipelines connected to it?
