I. Pre-start checks and preparatory work 1. Before starting, the operator should inspect the centrifuge unit itself as well as the motor. Remove obstacles around the machine; the drum should rotate without any friction. Are the machine foundation bolts and motor base bolts complete and properly tightened? Check whether the braking mechanism is responsive and whether there is any rubbing. Check whether the lubrication is adequate or add grease. 2. The body and motor should be clean, free of dust and oil residue, with complete safety enclosures. II. Startup and Operation 1. After starting the motor, check: whether the motor makes any abnormal noises and whether it overheats. It rotates smoothly, without noise or abnormal vibrations. 2. While the equipment is in operation, the operator must monitor it closely. Material should be added evenly to prevent overflow, and it is strictly forbidden to use shovels or other objects to strike the centrifuge to avoid accidents. 3. Turn off the power supply before parking, but while the centrifuge is in operation, emergency braking is strictly prohibited unless an accident occurs, to prevent accidents caused by loose spindle bolts or a broken spindle. III. Maintenance 1. Before starting the machine, check whether the spindle nuts and various bolts are loose, whether the braking system is functional, as well as the quantity and tightness of the V-belts. 2. When the centrifuge is in operation, pay attention to the vibration of the casing; if abnormal vibration is detected, stop the machine immediately for inspection. 3. When cleaning with hot water or steam regularly, lubricant should be added frequently. 4. When the centrifuge is in operation, check whether the sound of the bearings is normal. 5. Generally, avoid sudden braking; first cut off the power before braking, and apply the brakes in several stages. 6. Regularly inject an appropriate amount of grease into the main shaft’s oiling hole. 7. Regularly check for corrosion on the drum wall. IV. Handling of Common Faults
