Experts: Recently, the Ministry of Emergency Management has formulated and issued the \"Catalogue of Obsolete Safety Production Processes, Technologies, and Equipment for Hazardous Chemicals (Second Batch)\". Regarding centrifugal pumps, the regulations state that: \"Single-face mechanical seal centrifugal pumps and packing-sealed centrifugal pumps (excluding submersible pumps) are classified as prohibited; hazardous chemicals of Category A1, those posing extreme hazards, those posing high hazards, and those whose operating temperature exceeds their auto-ignition point are prohibited from being used, and existing equipment must be replaced within three years.\" ” Therefore, packing seals and single-face mechanical seals that are not classified as \"hazardous chemicals of Class A1, extremely hazardous, highly hazardous, or those with an operating temperature above their auto-ignition point\" can be used.
