The company uses spiral centrifugal pumps in many different operating conditions, primarily for pumping seaweed, to ensure that the seaweed is not crushed or damaged. But recently, there has been a need to use this pump to roughly cut or crush seaweed into pieces about 20-40 millimeters in length. In other words, change the original function. Could we just customize an impeller with a smaller pitch?
Like this? I think the broken one should work. But segmenting it, that probably won’t work.

It was a hand-cranked meat grinder… And after searching online, I found that hand-cranked meat grinders actually have variable pitch……
