What type of welding joint is this? The gasket serves as a fusible filler

This is a method that involves adding a fusible liner to the groove surface; it’s not clear what welding process is used for this. Some say it’s electroslag welding – I’m not sure if that’s correct
Electroslag welding also requires a fusible filler. It could also be electroslag welding
