In the misty rain, gazing at Langya Mountain in the distance

Langya Mountain is located in the mountains about 5 kilometers west of Chuzhou city. Among the mountains, in addition to this one, there are also Dafeng Mountain, Xiaofeng Mountain, Phoenix Mountain, Jizhuo Mountain, Zhaojia Mountain, Jian Mountain, Longtou Mountain, and Longwei Mountain. Xiaofeng Mountain is the highest, with an elevation of 321 meters; the heights of the other peaks range from 200 to 300 meters. There are three theories regarding the origin of the name of Langya Mountain: one is that when Ma Rui, the Emperor Yuan of the Eastern Jin Dynasty, served as the king of Langya, he once resided here. In the sixth year of the Dali era of the Tang dynasty (771), Li Youqing, the governor of Chuzhou, built a temple in the mountains and named that mountain \"Langya Mountain\"” ； Wang Yucheng of the Song dynasty wrote in his annotations to the poem \"Langya Mountain\": \"Emperor Yuan of the Eastern Jin Dynasty had the King of Langya cross the river and stay on this mountain; hence both the stream and the mountain are called by the name Langya. It is unknown what their names were before the Jin dynasty.\" ” Secondly, Sima You, the Grand General in charge of defense in the Western Jin Dynasty and a prince from Langya, led his troops through the Chu River basin to conquer Wu. It’s all reversed! ” Old Wang’s ability to interpret characters is just as worthless as that of a fortune-teller – it’s pure nonsense. He had no idea how to answer, and he was so angry that he wanted to pour Sanlu into Old Su. But Su Dongpo insisted on teasing him further: “Using a bamboo whip on a horse is considered normal; I don’t see what’s funny about using one on a dog.” ”Lao Wang couldn’t answer, but he was eager to learn, so he quickly turned to Su Dongpo for advice. Tell me, can you help me figure out why “jiu” is written as nine birds? Su said that the Book of Songs states, “The turtledove is in the mulberry tree; it has seven chicks.” ”The son has seven, and with mom and dad, that makes nine in total. Lao Wang slapped his thigh and said, “Wow, you’re really amazing!”
