The world’s largest semi-hydrate-dihydrate wet-process phosphoric acid project achieved successful commissioning in its first batch of production; China Wuhuan took charge of the overall construction. On September 2, China National Chemical Corporation’s Wuhuan Company, utilizing its own proprietary technology for the \"semi-hydrate-dihydrate wet-process phosphoric acid production process,\" successfully commissioned the world’s largest semi-hydrate-dihydrate wet-process phosphoric acid project – the Yidu Xingfa 380,000-ton/year wet-process phosphoric acid plant (referred to as the Xingfa Phosphoric Acid Project), producing qualified phosphoric acid in the first batch of output. To date, all equipment in the facility is operating stably, with all process parameters remaining within normal ranges. “The \"Semi-hydrate-dihydrate wet phosphoric acid production process\" technology represents the most advanced, large-scale, environmentally friendly, and integrated production system in the wet phosphoric acid industry. It has been designated by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology as well as the National Development and Reform Commission as a green technology to facilitate the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries. In the evaluation of scientific and technological achievements organized by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation in 2020, this technology was rated as being at an internationally advanced level. The successful first batch production of Xingfa phosphate marks a significant step forward in the dissemination of this technology, as well as the successful completion of the entire production process for this project. “The “semi-hydrate-dihydrate wet phosphoric acid production process” technology has been successfully applied in 5 facilities worldwide, with a total designed capacity of over 950,000 tons per year. The further promotion and application of this technology will play a positive role in the sustainable development of **scarce phosphate mineral resources, as well as in reducing energy consumption and waste in the industry.
