With the rapid growth of the application of polycarbonate and epoxy resin in the fields of electronics, building materials, automobile industry, communications and computers in my country, bisphenol A has become one of the key development varieties of phenol downstream products in my country. Its production site has extremely high requirements for the safety and stability of the control system. The owner of the project, Luxi Chemical, is a large state-owned enterprise controlled by China’s Sinochem Group Co., Ltd. * * The Petrochemical Federation has been recognized as "China Chemical New Materials (Liaocheng) Industrial Park" and "China Smart Chemical Park Pilot Demonstration Unit". It is one of the "Top 30 Chemical Parks in China" and one of the technological innovation demonstration enterprises in China's chemical industry. It was among the first batch to be recognized as a chemical park in Shandong Province. As one of the first selected projects in Shandong Province's major project library for converting old and new kinetic energy, Luxi Chemical's 1.2 million tons/year bisphenol A plant project will be completed and put into operation. It can provide stable raw materials for Luxi Chemical's existing polycarbonate plants, reduce outsourcing, reduce transportation costs and safety risks of raw material outsourcing, and improve profitability. During the same period, a 600,000-ton/year caprolactam-nylon 6 project and a 240,000-ton/year ethylene downstream integration project will also be constructed to further extend, supplement and strengthen the chain, expand the scale of advantageous products, and enhance the competitiveness and comprehensive strength of Luxi Chemical Industry. The 1.2 million tons/year bisphenol A plant project of Luxi Chemical Industry has many devices, is large in scale, has advanced technology, and has complex logic. The DCS system alone has nearly 30,000 IO points and more than 1,000 SIS points. It has strict requirements for the safety, stability, and reliability of the DCS and SIS control systems. HollySys Jinan Liaison Office organized an efficient team with multiple departments to work together to follow up the project. Through multiple communications with customers, they customized solutions that met customer needs.
