China’s chemical processing equipment has also seen significant progress, which has contributed to the swift development of the petrochemical industry. Here, we have compiled some of the achievements and breakthroughs made by Chinese equipment manufacturers in terms of larger-scale production and increased use of domestic equipment. Everyone is welcome to share, discuss, and exchange ideas; let’s cheer for Made in China and support the development of chemical processing equipment! ------------------------------------------------------ Small-scale skid-mounted natural gas hydrogen production has become a new trend in the development of small-scale hydrogen production worldwide. It is particularly suitable for hydrogen production at hydrogen refueling stations, as it eliminates the costly process of transporting hydrogen. Moreover, it enables low-cost hydrogen production near end-users by utilizing urban gas and natural gas networks, resulting in terminal hydrogen prices that are about 15–20% lower than those of hydrogen supplied from outside the stations. The hydrogen production capacity of the first skid-mounted hydrogen production unit is 250 Nm3/h, which is sufficient to meet the hydrogen demand of a hydrogen refueling station with a capacity of 500 kg/day. The equipment is a highly integrated container-type design that meets the requirements for road transport; it enables fast, efficient, and safe hydrogen production with minimal space occupation. The purity of the hydrogen produced is ≥99.999%, meeting the standards for hydrogen used in fuel cells. The equipment has an operating flexibility of 30% to 100%, enabling intelligent controls such as \"one-click start/stop\" and \"one-click load adjustment at 30%, 50%, 80%, and 100%\". This set of equipment has been optimally designed taking into account the characteristics of hydrogen refueling stations; it is capable of producing fuel hydrogen for proton exchange membrane fuel cell vehicles on demand, providing a locally sourced hydrogen solution for the development of China’s first batch of fuel cell vehicle demonstration city clusters.
