On July 25, Three Gorges (Sanya) Meidong New Energy Power Generation Co., Ltd. issued a public announcement of the candidates shortlisted for the EPC general contract of the Three Gorges Yazhou 100MW agro-solar integrated vegetable greenhouse + energy storage photovoltaic project. The announcement states that the first bidder is China Power Construction Group Hainan Electric Power Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd., with a bid price of 269,816,556.00 yuan. The second bidder was China Power Construction Group Jiangxi Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd., with a bid price of 282,018,415.00 yuan. The tender announcement indicates that the energy storage capacity for this project is 25MW/50MWh. The announcement states that bidders must have at least one EPC general contracting experience for a photovoltaic power generation project of 10 MW or larger since January 1, 2019.
