Celebrating the 73rd anniversary of our motherland: Looking at the ten-year progress in chemical processing equipment. Replies will be rewarded; discussions are welcome. ------------------------------------------- For domestic LNG receiving station projects, ORV and IFV equipment relies mainly on imports, with design and manufacturing technologies long dominated by Japanese companies. This results in issues such as limited supply channels, long delivery times, and restricted procurement options. Since 2010, Qidian Group has collaborated with Harbin Fenghua Co., Ltd. of China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation (hereinafter referred to as “China Aerospace Science and Industry”) and Jiangsu Zhongsheng High-Tech Industry Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Zhongsheng Group”) on efforts to develop LNG vaporizers independently. They completed the design of the heat transfer models for these vaporizers as well as their structural development, making significant breakthroughs in areas such as high-efficiency heat exchange tubes, medium distribution systems, heat exchange tube welding techniques, and anti-corrosion coatings for seawater. As a result, they were able to develop LNG vaporizers on their own, ending reliance on imported products and reducing the costs associated with procurement and maintenance for domestic projects. On October 24, 2019, the seawater vaporizer (IFV) for high-pressure medium transfer in Sinopec’s Tianjin LNG Phase II project, manufactured by Zhongsheng Pressure Vessels, successfully passed the factory acceptance test. This is another time that Zhongsheng has taken on the task of developing IFV equipment for the Tianjin LNG Phase II project, following its previous work on developing the same type of equipment for Sinopec’s “Ten Dragon” research project, namely the seawater vaporizer (IFV) used in the high and low pressure stages of Tianjin LNG Phase I.
