Witnessing the ten-year development of chemical processing equipment, we celebrate the prosperity and strength of modern China. This is just a starting point; we welcome everyone to participate more in discussions on this forum – the more people involved, the more lively it becomes. Haichuan becomes even better with you here. There are prizes for replies; feel free to discuss! ------------------------------------------------- In November 2008, the construction of the Wuhan River-crossing pipeline operated by CNPC’s Central China Sales Branch began, marking the start of construction of China’s first pipeline for transporting refined oil across the Yangtze River. The design capacity of this pipeline project is 3.5 million tons per year; it starts at Dazhuang Oil Depot and ends at Wuhan Oil Depot, with a total length of 18 kilometers. The total investment amount is 246 million yuan, and operation is expected to begin by the end of August next year. Once this pipeline is completed, the sales branch in Central China will be able to obtain resources from Wuhan Petrochemical, which is located across the river, thereby reducing transportation costs and improving work efficiency. It will also enable the Wuhan oil depot to fulfill its functions of operation and storage, enhancing the ability to regulate the market. For Wuhan Petrochemical, the headquarters has invested in building an ethylene plant with a capacity of 800,000 tons in Wuhan. This will increase Wuhan Petrochemical’s crude oil processing capacity to 8 million tons, ensuring a sufficient supply of raw materials for ethylene production; accordingly, its output of refined oil will rise to 4.53 million tons per year. Once the pipeline across the river is completed, it will ensure unobstructed access to the refinery, thereby reducing the pressure on the refinery’s production and storage of refined oil products. Once completed, the Wuhan river-crossing pipeline will be able to connect with the already existing Luozheng-Zhumadian pipeline (Luoyang %26mdash; Zhengzhou %26mdash; Zhumadian) and the operational Changzhu pipeline (Changling %26mdash; Changsha %26mdash; Zhuzhou). By linking the south and the north, it will serve as a hub for transporting refined oil, enabling the group to leverage its overall advantages and achieve better economic benefits.
