Thanks to the hard work of the staff of the Jiaxing Maintenance Repair Team of Sichuan-East Gas Transmission, after nearly a week of hard work, the Jiaxing Maintenance Repair Team completed the "Research on the Technology of Replacement of Large-diameter High-Pressure Ball Valve under Pressure" under pressure in the station workshop. The complete success of this test marked a significant progress in the technical research work, and added an innovative technology for the company to replace large-diameter high-pressure ball valve under pressure.
In order to successfully complete this pressurized test work, after repeated tests and improvements, the plugging pressure was finally reached above 7MPa, far exceeding the 6.3MPa pressure set when the project was established. In this test, compressed nitrogen was used instead of natural gas for the pressure test. The size of the valve replaced was DN300, which completely simulated the actual on-site working conditions of the company's existing trunk valve chamber bypass pipeline. In addition to technical and operational proficiency, it basically met the on-site emergency application conditions.
