At 10 a.m. on January 5, 2023, the gasifier for the project on clean, efficient, and comprehensive utilization of coal through classification and quality differentiation, carried out by Shaanxi Longhua Group Coal Industry Technology Development Co., Ltd., was officially lifted. The clean, efficient, and comprehensive utilization project for coal classification and quality separation carried out by Shaanxi Longhua Group Coal Industry Technology Development Co., Ltd. utilizes 3 Jinhua furnaces model 3.0 manufactured by Lu’an Huaji. The project is scheduled to have its urea production unit completed by September 30, 2023, while the ammonia synthesis unit is expected to be completed by October 30, 2023.
The construction of the project for the clean and efficient utilization of coal on a graded and quality-specific basis at Shaanxi Coal Longhua Mining aims to produce 500,000 tons per year of synthetic ammonia, 800,000 tons per year of urea, 300,000 tons per year of calcium carbide, 1 million tons per year of semi-coke, 300,000 tons per year of lime, 60,000 tons per year of melamine, as well as 50,000 tons per year of LNG. The project utilizes advanced, mature, and reliable technologies such as clean coal gasification, ammonia synthesis, low-temperature methanol washing, sulfur recovery, isothermal shift, and liquid nitrogen washing to produce synthetic ammonia, which is then used as a raw material to manufacture products such as urea and melamine. The total investment for the project is 7.07 billion yuan.
