During this period, the system operated safely and reliably, with energy efficiency metrics and product quality meeting or exceeding the design specifications. This marks the official commissioning of Asia’s largest CCUS project for thermal power generation. **The Energy Group completed an 100,000-ton CO2 capture and storage (CCS) project in Ordos in 2011, and another 150,000-ton CCS project at the Jinjie Power Plant in 2021. Earlier this year, it established China’s first chemical chain mineralization CCUS project in Datong, providing an effective solution to the issue of CO2 emissions associated with coal use and coal-fired power generation.
