On December 20, according to information from the Development and Reform Bureau of Gangcheng Economic Development Zone in Laiwu City, the industrialization project of Shandong Zhongke Special Materials Co., Ltd., which aims to produce 10,000 tons per year of high-performance aramid material products, has been approved for registration. Shandong Zhongke Special Materials Co., Ltd. was established on April 23, 2024, funded by natural persons, with a registered capital of 10 million yuan. It is reported that on December 3, the Gangcheng Economic Development Zone in Jinan City and Shandong Zhongke Special Materials Co., Ltd. held a signing ceremony for a project aimed at producing 10,000 tons per year of high-performance aramid film products as well as high-tech insulating materials. This project involves an investment of 500 million yuan and covers an area of 86 mu. It mainly produces thin meta-aramid fiber insulation film materials, meta-aramid fiber honeycomb materials, para-aramid fiber honeycomb materials, and water treatment substrates. These products are a type of advanced high-tech synthetic fiber that boasts excellent properties such as high strength and modulus, resistance to high temperatures, acids, and alkalis, light weight, insulation capabilities, aging resistance, and a long service life. They are widely used in important fields such as aerospace, ships, aircraft carriers, radar systems, high-speed trains, military applications, and power batteries.
