On the morning of April 18, the Gulei Petrochemical Base in Zhangzhou, Fujian was adorned with colorful flags, as the inauguration ceremony for the EPC general contracting project for a 70,000-capacity centralized air separation and compression system undertaken by China Air Separation Engineering Co., Ltd. was held on a grand scale. Serving as the \"lungs of industry\" for the China-Saudi Arabia Guleiyang ethylene project worth hundreds of billions, this facility will, once completed, have the capacity to produce 70,000 Nm³/h of oxygen and 90,000 Nm³/h of compressed air, thereby injecting strong momentum into the global petrochemical industry. The total investment in this project is 750 million yuan, and it includes a domestically leading air separation unit with a capacity of 70,000 Nm³/h as well as an air compression station with a capacity of 90,000 Nm³/h. Advanced technologies such as molecular sieve purification and internal compression of oxygen and nitrogen are employed, enabling the production of industrial oxygen with a purity of ≥99.8% and high-purity nitrogen with a purity of ≥99.999%. As the first public auxiliary gas supply center in the Gulei Petrochemical Park, this project will ensure an adequate supply of industrial gases for key facilities such as the Zhongsha Gulei Ethylene plant and the Fuhai Chuang PX/PTA plant, thereby helping the park strive to become a \"world-class green chemical manufacturing hub\". The commencement of this project marks a significant breakthrough for China Air Separation in the field of petrochemical auxiliary services, as its full-industry-chain service capabilities in \"design, manufacturing, construction, and operation and maintenance\" have once again been proven. As rainbow fireworks exploded at the moment the push rod was activated, this industrial gas hub, which carries the strategic mission of \"Made in China 2025,\" officially entered the fast track of construction.
