The Shaoxing Fengdeng Environmental Protection Co., Ltd.’s improvement and expansion project enables the treatment of 200,000 tons of organic hazardous waste per year

On July 21, 2025, the Jiangsu branch of China National Chemical 13th Construction Corporation won the bid for the consolidation and improvement project of Shaoxing Fengdeng Environmental Protection Co., Ltd. The project can process 200,000 tons of organic hazardous waste per year, reduce carbon emissions by 400,000 tons, and produce 320,000 tons of green recycled products. Carbon dioxide-rich exhaust gases will also be recycled, with an 80,000-ton/year liquid carbon dioxide production facility built to enable efficient resource circulation. The Jiangsu branch is responsible for the installation work of this project. The contract value is 160 million yuan. According to a report from Hangzhou Kuai Kai High-Efficiency Energy-Saving New Technology Company in May, Hangzhou Kuai Kai won the bid for the liquid carbon dioxide unit in the upgrading project carried out by Shaoxing Fengdeng Environmental Protection Co., Ltd.; this unit makes use of the carbon dioxide-rich exhaust gases generated during the pressure swing adsorption decarburization process in ammonia synthesis plants. Hangzhou Kuai Kai provides the process package as well as patents for the carbon dioxide unit, design and manufacturing of proprietary equipment, etc. New processes such as Hangzhou Kuai Kai’s precision desulfurization and liquid-phase distillation are employed to ensure that all design parameters meet the specified standards, thereby producing liquid carbon dioxide that satisfies the quality requirements of the client. The facility is expected to come online in March 2026.
