Jixi City in Heilongjiang Province invests 2.83 billion yuan to build a chemical complex that produces 300,000 tons of green hydrogen alcohol aviation fuel

The 300,000-ton green hydrogen, alcohol, and aviation fuel chemical production project is located in the industrial park of Jidong Town, Jidong County, Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province. It was invested in and constructed by Heilongjiang Jiayirongyuan Green Chemical Co., Ltd. The project uses non-food biomass straws as raw material to produce 80,000 tons of ethanol per year through fermentation. The slurry produced by ethanol fermentation is pressurized and gasified in a fluidized bed to produce syngas, which is then subjected to processes such as shift reaction, desulfurization and decarbonization, as well as methanol synthesis, to yield 240,000 tons per year of green methanol. The total investment for the project is 2,828.23 million yuan.
