On September 17, the environmental impact assessment documents for the project of Zhongtan and Bio-based Materials (Binzhou) Co., Ltd., which aims to produce 50,000 tons of polylactic acid fibers per year, were made public. Zhongtan and Bio-based Materials (Binzhou) Co., Ltd. plans to invest 1 billion yuan to build a project capable of producing 50,000 tons of polylactic acid fibers per year in the Luguang Logistics Park in Yangxin County. The project will be constructed in three phases, with some of the construction work taking place simultaneously: Phase 1 is planned to cost 150 million yuan and will mainly involve the construction of a production line capable of producing 10,000 tons of polylactic acid fibers per year; Phase 2 is planned to cost 300 million yuan and will focus on building a production line that can produce 20,000 tons of polylactic acid fibers per year; Phase 3 is planned to cost 550 million yuan, again for the construction of a production line capable of producing 20,000 tons of polylactic acid fibers per year. A total of 10 polylactic acid fiber production lines have been built, which primarily use PLA, pre-spinning oiling agents for short fibers, and post-spinning oiling agents as raw materials, and employ pre-spinning processes and post-spinning processes specific to polylactic acid cotton-type short fibers to produce polylactic acid fibers. The first phase involves building 2 polylactic acid fiber production lines (1 separate pre-spinning line + 1 separate post-spinning line). Raw material consumption for the project; Process flow.
