Tongkun Shares: Plans to invest 5.6 billion yuan in a project to produce 1.2 million tons of green differentiated fibers per year October 29, 2025 – According to a report by Southern Finance on October 29, Tongkun Shares announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Hengyong New Materials, intends to invest 5.6 billion yuan in a project aimed at producing 1.2 million tons of green differentiated fibers per year. The construction will take place in two phases: in the first phase, two sets of production facilities capable of producing 600,000 tons of polyester filaments per year each, along with spinning workshops, will be built; in the second phase, another two sets of such facilities will be constructed. The project construction period is 38 months, with the expected start date being November 1, 2025. In a normal year, the project can generate revenue of 9.769 billion yuan and a total profit of 527 million yuan. There are risks related to approval, implementation, the market, process technology, construction conditions, finance, and safety management.
