The 1.34 million tons per year coke production project of Shanxi Yuwang Coal Gasification Co., Ltd., featuring carbonization chambers with a height of 6.25 meters and a ramming coking process, is located in the Coal Chemical Industry Circular Economy Park of Xinzhou Economic Development Zone. It is a coke production project aimed at supporting the economic integration of the Tai-Xin urban cluster in central Shanxi, and it involves expanding production capacity by replacing smaller facilities with larger ones. The main facilities include 2×65-chamber JNDX3-6.25 type ramming coke ovens, along with a 1×200-ton/hour dry quenching unit (which shares a 140-ton/hour backup dry quenching unit with your company’s 1.37 million tons/year top-loading coking project), and 1×30MW steam turbine generator set. Part of the purified coke oven gas is reused in the coke ovens, while the remaining portion is combined with the excess coke oven gas from your company’s 1.37 million tons/year top-loading coking project and sent to the facilities associated with that project, namely those for producing 200,000 tons/year of methanol, 60,000 tons/year of synthetic ammonia, and 3,000 cubic meters per hour of hydrogen. The total investment for the project is 3.5 billion yuan, of which 370 million yuan is allocated to environmental protection measures.
