On November 14th, the first piece of equipment in the refining area of the Lu Oil Lu Refining transformation and upgrading project – the amine solution sedimentation tank for the coking liquefied gas desulfurization unit – was delivered to the site. Early that day, Zheng Aiwei, deputy head of the Equipment Department at Qilu Petrochemical’s Equipment Handling Center, along with Liang Shidong, an expert from the Process Control team, went to the site to carefully inspect the amine solution sedimentation tank, checking everything from the equipment model and overall quality to the parameters of its key components, to ensure that it met the project’s design standards and installation requirements. The construction workers monitored the loading conditions and the balance of the equipment in real time, following the instructions given by the lifting supervisors, and finally managed to place the equipment steadily and accurately on its foundation supports. Safety procedures were strictly followed throughout the installation process; a safety perimeter was set up at the site, with dedicated personnel overseeing the lifting and high-altitude work, while installation data was recorded to ensure that the quality of the installation met the required standards. The installation of this first piece of equipment for the coking liquefied gas desulfurization unit marks the beginning of the equipment installation phase for this project, thus accelerating its progress. The workers on site said that they would conduct thorough inspections of each piece of equipment before it leaves the factory, and would do their best to speed up the construction process to ensure that the project is completed successfully
