On November 18, the Management Committee of Chengdu New Materials Industry Functional Zone signed a cooperation agreement with Fujian Youlite Materials Technology Co., Ltd.; the headquarters for the Central and Western regions of Youlite, as well as its new materials R&D and production base, were officially established in Pengzhou, Chengdu. The total planned investment for this project is 1 billion yuan, to be implemented in two phases. Of this, the first phase of investment amounts to about 400 million yuan, which is primarily used for building a headquarters in the central and western regions, as well as for constructing a production facility capable of producing 10,000 tons per year of high-purity dinitrogen monoxide, along with related supporting facilities ； The second-phase investment amounts to about 600 million yuan, which will be focused on the production or purification of electronic specialty gases such as electron-grade ammonia, silanes, helium, hexafluorobutadiene, germanes, deuterium, and various mixed gases. The implementation of this project under contract will fill in another key piece in Chengdu’s electronics information industry and new energy industry’s material supply chain. Once completed, it will not only serve Chengdu but also meet the needs of the electronics information and new energy industries in the southwestern region, enabling nitrogen monoxide as an electronic specialty gas to be produced in Chengdu for use in the southwestern area. This will help make Chengdu’s and the southwestern region’s integrated circuit and new energy industry chains more complete and resilient, while also establishing a unique \"material advantage\" in the national industrial competition.
