On November 5, the Amiral mixture pyrolysis unit and refinery exhaust gas project in Saudi Arabia, constructed by the Saudi branch of China National Chemical Engineering 11th Construction Co., Ltd. with the participation of a chemical machinery and equipment manufacturing factory, reached a key milestone: the ultra-large C-2101 equipment, weighing 1,065 tons, standing 72 meters tall and having a diameter of 7.5 meters, was successfully lifted into place. This task marks a significant breakthrough in the installation of large-scale equipment for the project, laying a solid foundation for subsequent construction work. It is reported that to ensure safe lifting, the project team at the chemical machinery and equipment manufacturing plant carefully developed a specialized construction plan and strictly implemented safety technical instructions. The main lifting device is an XGC88000 4,000-ton crawler crane, while the auxiliary lifting device is a 600-ton crawler crane. These two heavy-duty machines work together in coordination to ensure that the C-2101 equipment is placed precisely on its designated base, setting a new record for the precision of lifting ultra-large equipment in this area. In this project, thanks to its world-leading lifting capabilities and intelligent control systems, the project team ensured seamless and efficient progression through all stages, from the positioning of the core units to the assembly of auxiliary equipment.
