The water-based commissioning of the butyl ester unit in Tianjin Bohai Petrochemical New Materials Project was successful. Recently, the water-based commissioning of this unit within the Tianjin Bohai Petrochemical New Materials Project carried out by Company 4 of Erhua Construction was completed successfully, with all process parameters meeting the required standards. This marks the official transition of the unit from the construction phase to the critical preparation stage for operation, laying a solid foundation for subsequent comprehensive system testing and operational deployment. As an important part of the project, the butyl ester unit features complex processes and precise operations, requiring high standards regarding equipment integration and system stability. This water transportation test used water in place of the material, simulating the entire operational process of the system from raw material delivery to product output. It focused on completing key tasks such as pipeline airtightness testing, hydrostatic testing, calibration of control system signals, and verification of safety interlocks, thereby thoroughly assessing the precision of equipment installation, the reliability of pipe connections, and the ability of various systems to work together seamlessly. Next, the project team will take this water-driven commissioning test as an opportunity to swiftly advance subsequent tasks such as system drainage, drying, and nitrogen purging, making every effort to make a final push toward producing qualified butyl ester products, thereby contributing significantly to the successful completion of the project.

According to Bohai Chemical (600800), on December 10, the butyl ester production unit of Bohai Chemical Co., Ltd.’s new material project involving acrylates and superabsorbent resins successfully completed its water-linked trial operation, with all process parameters meeting the required standards. This marks the official transition of the unit from the construction phase into the critical preparation period for commissioning. This test run focused on the core processes of the device and the coordination with utility systems; it involved completing key tasks such as pipeline airtightness and hydrostatic testing, calibration of control system signals, and verification of safety interlocks. Adhering strictly to the principle of \"testing in stages and progressing steadily\", it was ensured that all test results met the acceptance standards. The trial run successfully verified the rationality of the device design and the high quality of the project construction, laying a foundation for subsequent comprehensive coordination with the product streams and utility systems of the upstream PDH units and reducing the risk of repeated shutdowns for debugging in the future. As a key project aimed at extending the petrochemical industry chain and strengthening it, upon completion it will create a product portfolio that includes acrylic acid, acrylates, and superabsorbent resins, enabling the production of high-value-added new materials. This will further optimize the company’s product structure and enhance its ability to withstand market risks.
