The POE high-end new materials project developed by Liaoning Dingjide Petrochemical Technology Co., Ltd. in the Dalian Changxing Island Economic and Technological Development Zone has moved from the planning stage to a new phase of stable production. Since official construction began in March 2024, and after 18 months of intensive work, the project saw the commissioning of the pilot plant in June 2025, followed by the successful first feed of Line 1 of the main plant in October. At present, Line 1 of the main production facility is operating steadily and effectively, driving the rapid development of domestically produced high-end polyolefin elastomers. At present, Line 1 of the POE main unit is operating smoothly and in an orderly manner, and has become the key factor in ensuring the stable production of high-quality products. Meanwhile, the construction of Line 2 has fully entered the final stages, with operations scheduled to begin in mid-January 2026. The completion of the dual-line layout will create a combined production capacity, providing a solid and reliable guarantee for market supply, and marking the growing maturity of Dingjide’s large-scale production system in the field of new materials. At present, the products produced by this project are mainly POE-modified materials. After rigorous testing, all their key performance indicators have reached the level of international mainstream products of the same type, marking a leap from \"domestic production\" to \"high-quality domestic production\". Samples of the product have been sent to over a hundred downstream customers for testing, and it has received recognition from dozens of leading manufacturers. To date, the total volume of shipments has exceeded 5,000 tons, which fully demonstrates its excellent and stable product quality; the process of replacing imported products with these local alternatives is accelerating. From the initial stages of establishment to achieving stable production, and from trial operations to full-scale production, Liaoning Dingji De Petrochemical Technology Co., Ltd. is moving forward at a steady pace on the path of new materials development. In the future, as production capacity is fully utilized and markets are further developed, Petrochemical Technology will continue to contribute significantly to Dingjide’s \"second wave of growth\" through its efforts to ensure stable and high-quality production, thus helping to write a chapter of strength and self-reliance in the field of domestic high-end new materials. The project is carried out in two phases – in the first phase, a POE production facility with an annual capacity of 200,000 tons, an α-olefin production facility with an annual capacity of 300,000 tons, and a hydrogen production facility using electrolysis with an output of 400 Nm³/h will be built ; Phase 2 mainly involves the construction of a 200,000-ton/year POE complex and a 250,000-ton/year carbonate plant.

Phase 1 is expected to come online in September, while Phase 2 is planned to be operational by the end of 2027. Once the project is put into operation, it is expected to generate annual revenue of 11.1 billion yuan. It will help resolve key technical challenges, fill existing gaps in China’s industry, and enable partial substitution of imported products.
