On January 8, it was learned from Sinopec Fourth Construction South China Branch that at the beginning of the new year in 2026, the depropanizer, a key piece of equipment for the 3 million tons per year RTC unit in the Maoming Petrochemical upgrading project, was successfully installed in place. It is reported that at 11:17 on January 7th, all the workers involved in the Maoming Petrochemical upgrading project, which was carried out by the South China branch of Sinopec Fourth Construction Company, completed their 6-hour task and successfully installed the components by 17:37 on the same day, after precisely passing through 56 anchor bolts and landing safely in place. This successful lifting operation has provided strong momentum for the company’s goal of completing tasks such as bringing structures above ground level, lifting heavy objects, and laying floors by the Spring Festival in 2026.
