On January 8, the Department of Ecology and Environment of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region approved the project (Phase III) of Inner Mongolia Dazhong Industrial Chemical Co., Ltd., which involves an annual production capacity of 18,000 tons of trifluorotoluene derivatives, 22,000 tons of aniline derivatives, 1,000 tons of pentafluorosulfoxim, 1,000 tons of pretilachlor, and 1,000 tons of pyrifluzifol, and made it public. The relevant details are as follows: Project name: Project for an annual production capacity of 18,000 tons of trifluorotoluene derivatives, 22,000 tons of aniline derivatives, 1,000 tons of mesotrione, 1,000 tons of pretilachlor, and 1,000 tons of pyrifluzifol (Phase III) ; Construction unit: Inner Mongolia Dazhong Industrial Chemical Co., Ltd ; Construction location: The project is located in the Bayin Aobao Industrial Park of the Alxa High-Tech Industrial Development Zone ; Project investment: 154 million yuan ; Project nature: Expansion ; Construction contents: The project includes the construction of 1 production line capable of producing 250 tons per year of 5-chloro-2-amino-trifluorotoluene, 1 production line capable of producing 250 tons per year of 4-chloro-3-amino-trifluorotoluene (with the production equipment for 4-chloro-3-amino-trifluorotoluene being shared with that for 5-chloro-2-amino-trifluorotoluene), 1 production line capable of producing 5,000 tons per year of 2,4-dimethylaniline, 1 production line capable of producing 1,000 tons per year of 2,6-dimethylaniline, 1 production line capable of producing 4,000 tons per year of (ortho,para)-trifluoromethylaniline, 1 production line capable of producing 200 tons per year of 2-methyl-3-amino-trifluorotoluene, as well as various auxiliary facilities. Among them, the production line for 200 tons per year of 2-methyl-3-amino trifluorotoluene is a product from the second-phase project as originally registered, and it has now been adjusted to be part of this project.
