On January 16, the boiler unit of the HHE New Energy Lanzhou Clean and Smart Heat Source Project was precisely hoisted into place on its tightly sealed roof, marking the complete installation of the boiler itself in the project. The key component of this lifting operation is the tightly sealed roof for the 30-ton boiler unit, which was prefabricated on the ground. Given the large size of the components and the high lifting heights involved, the project team made comprehensive plans: a 300-ton truck crane was selected as the main lifting equipment, and by taking advantage of the compatibility of the equipment available on site, an innovative construction method of \"prefabrication on the ground + installation in the air\" was adopted. The construction team divided the entire roof into east and west sections to carry out prefabrication in stages and lifting step by step. The roof structure features a pitched design on both the front and rear sides; it is 27.8 meters deep and 18.4 meters wide, with a slope of 10%. Galvanized steel gutters are installed on both the front and rear sides. The work area is adjacent to the boiler steel frame and the coal storage pit, resulting in complex site conditions. To ensure lifting precision and safety, the team employed a \"ground-to-air\" relay positioning method, completing the adjustment of the roof unit’s position in the air in just 15 minutes, thereby achieving a high precision standard with a placement error of ≤40 millimeters. Through continuous and precise operations, the boiler’s enclosed roof was successfully positioned at the top of the boiler.
