From January 24 to 25, 2026, the installation of the two 600-ton capacity hydration reactors (R-101A/B), which are the core equipment for the 200,000-ton/year isopropyl alcohol production unit in Anhui Zhonghuifa New Materials Co., Ltd.’s 450,000-ton/year light hydrocarbon alcoholization integrated project – a project undertaken by the 15th branch – was successfully completed. This lifting operation is a key control point for this project, marking the entry of the installation of the main equipment of the facility into an important phase. At 8:17 a.m. on January 25, with the precise operation of a 1,250-ton crawler crane, the second hydration reactor was accurately placed on its designated foundation, with the entire process proceeding safely, precisely, and efficiently. Thus, the two-day lifting operation was successfully completed, achieving the desired goals of \"zero accidents in terms of safety, zero defects in terms of quality, and zero delays in terms of schedule.\" The hydration reactor being lifted this time is the heaviest individual unit in the project; it stands 44 meters tall, has a diameter of 3.8 meters, and weighs 605.2 tons. The confined space at the job site and the high requirements for installation precision pose severe challenges to the design of lifting plans, mechanical setup, and on-site coordination. After months of careful planning and simulation by the project team, a \"primary plus auxiliary\" lifting scheme was finally determined: an XGC16000 type 1250-ton crawler crane was used as the main lifting device, while a QUY700 type 700-ton crawler crane served as an auxiliary device for guiding the load. By scientifically planning the positions of the lifting equipment and their movement paths, precise control was achieved over the entire process of bringing the equipment into place, turning it over, lifting it, and positioning it correctly. After the first reactor was successfully installed on the morning of January 24, the project team promptly carried out adjustments to the lifting gear and lifting equipment, while also checking the condition of the equipment, thereby efficiently completing the preparation work for lifting the second reactor. The follow-up tasks the next day proceeded smoothly, with everything being completed in one go. Manager Shi Xianming, the person in charge of this project, said in his summary: “The successful completion of this lifting task has proven the foresight of the lifting plan, the reliability of the equipment, as well as the team’s high level of professional competence.” Two days of intensive work in a row served as a practical test of our comprehensive organizational and emergency response capabilities. ”
