On January 28, the first gasifier in the gasification unit of Ningxia Baofeng Phase IV methanol project was successfully lifted into place. The gasification furnace equipment to be lifted this time weighs 520 tons, and its installation height is 35.5 meters. To ensure the smooth progress of the lifting operation, various teams involved in the project—those responsible for technology, safety, and construction—worked together to optimize every aspect, including the selection of appropriate lifting equipment, precise planning of the lifting route, assessment and prevention of risks at the site, as well as emergency response plans for extreme conditions. Tight coordination and effective control in all these areas ensured that the lifting of the gasification furnace was carried out safely, accurately, and efficiently, providing a technical foundation for similar lifting operations in the future. It is reported that the project is located in Area A of the Baofeng Energy Circular Economy Chemical Industry Base, Linhe Industrial Park, Ningdong Town, Lingwu City, Ningxia. The fourth phase of this olefin production project is planned to have an annual capacity of 500,000 tons of coal-based olefins, with the products including 250,000 tons of polyethylene and 250,000 tons of polypropylene per year. The project utilizes high-quality thermal coal and coal powder for chemical use, focusing on the production of end products such as polyethylene, polypropylene, and fine chemical products. The manufactured products are widely used in fields such as packaging, building materials, automobiles, and electronics. Once completed, thanks to its core technical advantages of efficient equipment sealing, precise feeding, and strong adaptability, the project will play a vital role in significantly reducing raw material losses for enterprises and ensuring continuous production. It will also contribute to cost optimization, increased production capacity, and improved operational efficiency.
