On February 2, the EPC general contract for the 100,000 tons per year biomass green methanol project (Phase I) in Lanzhou New Area was officially made public. Winning bidders: Shanghai Electric Group Guokong Global Engineering Co., Ltd., China National Chemical Engineering Corporation’s 10th Construction Company Limited, China National Chemical Engineering Corporation’s 9th Construction Company Limited, Shanxi Installation Group Co., Ltd. Winning bid price: 959.06 million yuan. The main production facilities of this project include a biomass gasification unit for producing syngas, units for conversion and purification, compression, methanol synthesis, methanol distillation, a 200MW photovoltaic power generation system (photovoltaic power generation and related infrastructure are not covered by this tender), and an electrolysis unit for hydrogen production ； Utilities and auxiliary facilities include gas boiler power generation, biomass raw material storage tanks, tank farms and loading/unloading systems, flares, the entire plant’s piping system, air separation units, circulating water stations, production fire protection water systems, sewage pretreatment facilities, deaeration stations, desalination stations, initial rainwater collection tanks/accident water tanks, the entire plant’s water supply and drainage systems, 35kV substations, power distribution stations, electrical systems, telecommunications systems, lighting systems, control rooms, office buildings, comprehensive buildings, central laboratories, hazardous waste temporary storage areas, spare parts warehouses, fences, gates, factory roads, and fire protection systems. Bid Section 1: General contract for the design, procurement, and construction of a set of biomass gasification units, as well as facilities for conversion and purification, compression, methanol synthesis, and methanol distillation, along with utility and auxiliary systems, for the 100,000 tons per year biomass-based green methanol project (Phase I) in Lanzhou New Area. These systems include gas-fired boilers for power generation, biomass pellet production equipment, storage areas for biomass raw materials, tank farms and loading/unloading systems, flares, the entire plant’s piping system, air separation units, circulating water stations, production fire protection systems, sewage pretreatment facilities, deaeration stations, desalination stations, initial rainwater collection tanks/accident storage tanks, the entire plant’s water supply and drainage systems, 35kV substations, power distribution stations, electrical and telecommunications systems, lighting facilities, a control room, office buildings, comprehensive buildings, a central laboratory, temporary storage areas for hazardous waste, spare parts warehouses, fences, gates, factory roads, and fire protection systems.
