Recently, the Economic Development Zone of Kaiyang County, Guiyang City, Guizhou Province, issued the \"Second Public Participation Notice (Draft for Comments) on the Environmental Impact Assessment of Kaiyang’s ‘Phosphorus-Titanium-Lithium’ Integrated Circular Project – a project with an annual production capacity of 1.6 million tons of lithium iron phosphate (with 300,000 tons in the first phase)\". The project for an annual production capacity of 300,000 tons of iron phosphate, as announced this time, is an important part of the integrated cyclic project for \"phosphorus-titanium-iron-lithium\". As planned, the total investment in the project is 2,419.97 million yuan. The developer is Guizhou Phosphorus Chemical Zhonghe Materials Co., Ltd. The construction scope includes a plant for the pretreatment of 300,000 tons of raw materials, plants for the reaction and washing of 100,000 tons of iron phosphate, another plant for the same purpose handling 200,000 tons, a plant for the reuse of 300,000 tons of wastewater, an outdoor equipment area, a warehouse for 300,000 tons of ammonium sulfate, tank areas, an accident storage pool, a security gate, and other facilities. The goal is to achieve an annual production capacity of 300,000 tons of iron phosphate and 330,000 tons of ammonium sulfate (as a by-product).
