On March 24, the uppermost section of the methanol washing tower for the unconverted gas in the low-temperature methanol wash unit of the Shandong Hualu Hengsheng PTYH project, constructed by the Shandong branch of China National Chemical Engineering Corporation Sixth Construction Co., Ltd., was lifted into place in one go. It is reported that the project is located in the Yunhe Hengsheng Chemical Industry Park in Dezhou City, Shandong Province. The total investment in this project amounts to 2,904,640,000 yuan. The Shandong branch of LiuHuaJian is responsible for the civil engineering and installation work related to facilities such as conversion units, low-temperature methanol washing units, sulfur recovery systems, heat recovery systems, refrigeration stations, and circulating water stations. Once the project is completed and put into operation, it will produce high-quality synthetic effective gas and sulfur products, thereby effectively improving the energy efficiency of the enterprise’s production system and facilitating the company’s green development and industrial upgrading. In this project, the methanol washing tower for unshifted gas in the low-temperature methanol washing unit (T1007) has a total height of 80 meters and a total weight of 435 tons. For this lifting operation, the uppermost section to be installed is at a height of 59 meters; this section of equipment is 20 meters long and 2.8 meters in diameter, with a lifting weight of 120 tons. An 800-ton crawler crane is used as the main lifting device, while a 500-ton truck crane is used as an auxiliary crane for joint lifting. During the lifting process, the project team prepared a detailed lifting plan in advance; personnel in various positions worked together in coordination to carry out precise operations. The equipment was lifted smoothly and orderly, and it was successfully placed in position, earning high praise from both the owner and the supervisor.
