Hebei Yuhang Chemical Co., Ltd.’s project to produce 1.8 million tons of formaldehyde (37%), 510,000 tons of polyformaldehyde, and 150,000 tons of urotropine per year. This project is located on the east side of Xisunlou Village in the Economic Development Zone of Lingshou County, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, and it was invested in and built by Hebei Yuhang Chemical Co., Ltd. This project involves the annual production of 1.8 million tons of formaldehyde (37%), 510,000 tons of paraformaldehyde, and 150,000 tons of hexamethylenetetramine. It will be constructed in two phases; Phase I includes production lines with a capacity of 720,000 tons of formaldehyde, 210,000 tons of paraformaldehyde, and 60,000 tons of hexamethylenetetramine ； Phase II production lines with a capacity of 1.08 million tons for formaldehyde, 300,000 tons for polyformaldehyde, and 90,000 tons for urotropine. The scope of the first-phase construction includes: a formaldehyde production unit, a polyformaldehyde workshop, an urotropine production unit along with corresponding packaging facilities, a control building, a laboratory, office buildings, as well as storage and transportation facilities such as product warehouses and tank areas; in addition, there are auxiliary production facilities like exhaust gas incinerators, power distribution systems, and fire protection systems, utility facilities, and administrative and living service facilities. The scope of Phase II construction includes: a formaldehyde plant, a paraformaldehyde workshop, and supporting storage and transportation facilities such as product warehouses and tank farms; as well as auxiliary production facilities like off-gas incinerators, power transformation and distribution systems, and fire protection systems, along with utility facilities, administrative offices, and living service facilities. The project investment amount is 3,000,000,000 yuan.
