The lower section of the distillation tower is 19 meters high, 4.8 meters in diameter, and weighs 41.7 tons; it was lifted using a 400-ton crawler crane for the main lifting operation, with a 260-ton crawler crane used to assist with the lifting process. To ensure the smooth progress of the lifting operation, the project team developed detailed safety and technical measures, provided safety and technical instructions to the lifting personnel, and strictly followed the steps of \"preparation for lifting – trial lift – lifting – positioning – calibration – unhooking\", thereby ensuring that the lifting was successful on the first attempt. This successful lifting has laid a solid foundation for the subsequent capping of the cold box and the installation of internal pipelines.
