On April 23, Shandong Zhongrou New Materials Co., Ltd. released a public notice prior to submission for approval regarding the environmental impact assessment of its hydrofluoroether cleaner project. The details of the project are as follows: Project name: Hydrofluoroether Cleaner Project； Construction unit: Shandong Zhongrou New Materials Co., Ltd ； Construction site: Binzhou Bincheng Chemical Industry Park ； Nature of construction: New construction ； Total investment: 110 million yuan ； Construction content and scale: Construct a new production facility along with supporting auxiliary works. Upon completion, the project will have an annual production capacity of 2,000 tons of heptafluoroisobutyryl fluoride (of which 240 tons/year will be sold externally), 300 tons of bisperfluoroisopropyl ketone, 1,500 tons of perfluoroisobutyl methyl ether, and 500 tons of perfluoroisobutyl 6-ethoxy-6-ether.
